Fat Spaniel Technologies Signs Engenuity Systems as Manufacturing Partner
Strategic Agreement Announced at Intersolar North America 2009 Underscores Commitment to Accelerate Alternative Energy Management
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - July 15, 2009 - Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc., a provider of intelligent management services for the solar PV industry, announced a strategic partnership with Engenuity Systems, Inc. a leading value-added integrator and distributor of networked automation solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Engenuity will license Fat Spaniel’s renewable energy hardware designs and assume responsibility for developing and delivering monitoring system hardware that integrates with Fat Spaniel’s Internet-based software services. The partnership expands the Fat Spaniel renewable energy management ecosystem and provides customers with advanced, standards-based hardware products that are enabled by Fat Spaniel’s industry-leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

Fat Spaniel firmware will be licensed to Engenuity and embedded in the Engenuity platforms to facilitate integration with the Fat Spaniel services platform. Under the terms of the agreement, Engenuity will eventually offer Fat Spaniel compatible monitoring and communications equipment including communications gateways or data loggers, revenue-grade power meters, current transducers (CTs), environmental sensors, and a broad range of network communications hardware.
