Fat Spaniel Technologies is a Solar-Assisted Business™, using energy from the sun for over 40% of our electrical energy needs on an annual basis. During sunny summer days, we typically export electricity to the utility grid.

The graph below shows accumulated energy, in watt-hours, used or generated every hour throughout the day. In orange is the energy used by the building. In green is the energy generated by the photovoltaic (solar electric) system. Whenever the green bars are taller than the orange bars, we exported electricity during that period.
